Hola. I’m Christy Pepper Dawson – an illustrator and painter of macabre misfits and whimsical worlds.
I was born an only child in a small town in Nova Scotia. Growing up, I tended to bond more with insects and imaginary creatures rather than children my age.
Little has changed since then. I still find most of my inspiration from these beings. Of course dreams, music, fashion, photos, nature, comics, films and gummy bears also influence what I create.
